We Take Privacy and Confidentiality Very Seriously.
As licensed attorneys, our continued existence as a firm and our very licensure is predicated upon adhering to the ethics rules promulgated by the State Bar of California. According to these ethics rules, we treat all information that is provided by prospective or existing clients for the purpose of evaluating a legal case as confidential. As such, when you contact our firm, you can feel comfortable knowing that we are protecting your confidential information. However, a lawyer may, but is not required to, reveal protected information to the extent that the lawyer reasonably believes the disclosure is necessary to prevent a criminal act that the lawyer reasonably believes is likely to result in death of, or substantial bodily harm to, an individual.
Again, we take confidentiality very seriously, and if you contact us regarding a legal matter, then, for all intents and purposes, the information you provide will be kept strictly confidential, barring some abnormal circumstances that make confidentiality a lesser priority. Such circumstances are highly unlikely to ever occur.
Additionally, if we are contacted by non-prospective clients for reasons other than seeking legal advice, then we bear no obligation to keep any information provided confidential, and you agree to allow us to share publicly any information provided. You also agree to have your identity made known. If you do not wish to have such information made public consider contacting us. The overarching purpose of our privacy policy is to protect current, former, and prospective clients by providing them with confidential communications and anonymity. It is not our goal to extend the same protection to people or businesses who contact us through our site for other reasons, particularly those who contact us for marketing purposes or casual conversation.
What information do we collect and how do we use it?
There are two types of information that we collect:
We collect information that you provide when you fill out a form, email us, or chat with a representative online, and, obviously, you control the nature and content of that information. When this information is related to a legal matter, this information is used so that we may evaluate your potential case or answer legal questions that you may ask. In some cases, we may use this technical information to alter how our site performs and what information is displayed in order to create a custom experience for certain users.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not willfully or knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline, though we strictly adhere to the State Bar of California mandated ethics guidelines which do not permit us to share prospective client information irrespective of the means by which it was obtained.
